Produced by Peter Katis, the debut album by the London-based indie-pop collective is brimming with exuberant, multi-instrumental orchestration. Utilizing an arsenal of trumpets, violins, mandolins, and glockenspiels, the band constructs soaring, theatrical pop anthems that draw frequent, favorable comparisons to Arcade Fire and Beirut. It was highly celebrated as a joyous, immaculately arranged highlight of the late-2000s indie folk boom.
