Album Notes & Community Reviews

After struggling commercially throughout the mid-90s, the iconic Spanish duo achieved a massive critical and commercial resurgence with this release[cite: 1]. The album skillfully modernizes their classic synthpop sound, incorporating subtle trip hop beats and deep house rhythms beneath Alaska's highly introspective, notably pessimistic lyricism[cite: 1].
