Darkness in a Different Light

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Breaking a nine-year studio silence, the progressive metal pioneers returned with a revitalized lineup featuring guitarist Frank Aresti and drummer Bobby Jarzombek. The album dials back some of the sprawling atmospherics of its predecessor in favor of a leaner, more direct metallic attack, maintaining their signature complex time signatures and Ray Alder's emotive vocal melodies.
