Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiled primarily from a string of successful hit singles, this album showcases the New Orleans piano legend at the height of his commercial powers. His unmistakable rolling piano triplets and warm, Creole-inflected vocals perfectly execute Dave Bartholomew's tight, horn-driven arrangements. It serves as a definitive summary of the highly influential rhythm and blues sound he pioneered.
