Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as an avant-garde live soundtrack to F.W. Murnau's classic silent horror film, the reunited krautrock legends deliver an abrasive, improvised performance. The collective uses industrial scrap metal, brooding synthesizer drones, and heavy, repetitive percussion to emphasize the deep dread of the cinema classic. The resulting album acts as a vital bridge between their 1970s experimentalism and modern dark ambient music.
