Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning from a six-year recording hiatus, the acclaimed Canadian songwriter dramatically strips away the polished, orchestrated pop of her earlier successes. The record is incredibly raw, relying heavily on distorted electric guitar, sparse percussion, and deeply intimate vocal takes recorded largely live in the studio. It acts as a profound, intentionally unpolished exploration of loneliness, aging, and reclaiming creative agency.
