Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Cream drummer Ginger Baker during a trip to Nigeria, 'He Miss Road' highlights a slightly dreamier, intensely groove-oriented side of Fela Kuti's massive ensemble. The album is a wonderfully warm, fiercely rhythmic afrobeat classic, weaving heavily psychedelic, deeply uplifting jazz-funk organ textures into highly energetic, politically charged tropical anthems.
