Album Notes & Community Reviews
Comprised of a single, sprawling 25-minute composition, Fela Kuti's 'Confusion' is a towering monument of afrobeat intensity. The album opens with a remarkably free-form, deeply atmospheric organ and drum dialogue before exploding into a fiercely energetic, intensely rhythmic masterclass in political protest, condemning the chaotic infrastructure of urban Lagos.
