Album Notes & Community Reviews
Despite enduring intense political persecution and physical ailments, the Afrobeat pioneer released this defiant, highly rhythmic late-career statement. Composed of extended, deeply intricate polyrhythmic jams, the title track 'O.D.O.O. (Overtake Don Overtake Overtake)' continues his scathing indictments of the Nigerian military regime.
