Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fela Kuti used 'Original Sufferhead' to extend Afrobeat's long-form political critique into a meditation on everyday hardship and state neglect. The title track builds through layered horns, percussion, and call-and-response vocals, keeping the Africa 70 sound tied to both dancefloor repetition and direct social commentary.
