Temporarily abandoning his role as lead vocalist, Lawrence collaborated closely with newly recruited keyboardist Martin Duffy to record a brief, entirely instrumental collection. Clocking in at less than twenty minutes, the album trades their typical jangle-pop for soothing, classically-inspired organ vignettes and melancholic, easy-listening atmospheres.
