Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Mayo Thompson, this incredibly brief mini-album captures Felt's jangle pop at its most pastoral and melancholic. The record trades the pristine sheen of their earlier work for a warmer, distinctly autumnal folk-rock atmosphere, driven by Maurice Deebank's swirling guitar lines and Lawrence's detached, poetic vocals. 'Poem of the River' is a deeply introspective, bittersweet gem of 80s indie music.
