Comprised of hardcore scene veterans, the Boston supergroup continued their intensely personal exploration of grief and moving forward following the loss of frontman Patrick Flynn's father. The record perfectly marries melodic, mid-tempo alternative rock accessibility with the raw, impassioned vocal grit of their hardcore origins. It was widely regarded as a beautifully mature, highly cathartic triumph in the modern emo revival.
