Album Notes & Community Reviews

Breaking entirely away from Charlie Simpson's pop-oriented past, 'Grand Unification' is an ambitious, heavy post-hardcore concept album based loosely on the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion[cite: 8]. The recording balances aggressive alternative metal riffs with sweeping, bittersweet melodies to craft an epic, apocalyptic rock narrative[cite: 8].
