Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Scottish new wave outfit Fingerprintz refined their edgy, post-punk inclinations into a highly accessible, sharply produced power pop sound on their sophomore effort. 'Distinguishing Marks' is characterized by Jimmy O'Neill's cynical vocal delivery, driving rhythmic tension, and hook-laden guitar lines. Despite receiving strong critical acclaim, the band remained an underground cult favorite.
