Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released through the fiercely independent Cherry Red imprint, this collection perfectly showcases the British group's angular, highly intellectual approach to the post-punk framework. The record juxtaposes stark, minimalist guitar lines with icy, rigid drum machine programming and detached vocals. It exemplifies the challenging, bleak aesthetic that defined the era's DIY art-punk underground.
