Caprisongs

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Representing her first major mixtape project, 'Caprisongs' is a vibrant, collaborative, and highly playful statement from British avant-pop artist FKA twigs. Executive produced alongside El Guincho, the seventeen-track record moves away from the devastating, claustrophobic grief of her earlier work toward a celebratory, lighter-footed sound. The tracks seamlessly stitch alternative R&B and art pop with UK bass, dancehall, and Afroswing rhythms, interspersed with intimate voice notes and warm monologues from her close friends that emphasize community, self-love, and healing.
