Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following their tenures with The Turtles and Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention, the eccentric vocal duo of Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan delivered a brilliant, deeply satirical set of highly polished pop-rock. Featuring their pristine, signature vocal harmonies, the self-titled album tackles music industry hypocrisy and cultural absurdity with sharp wit and undeniable melodic charm. It remains a fascinating cult classic of 1970s Los Angeles rock.
