Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Whenever You're Ready' offers a high-octane blast of infectious melodies buried beneath a thick layer of buzzing, distorted guitars. Emerging from the crowded Seattle scene, the quartet prioritized sharp pop songcraft and breakneck tempos over sludgy angst. The major-label debut remains a prime example of the fuzzy, hyper-energetic power pop that thrived in the alternative boom.
