Album Notes & Community Reviews

Flora Purim blends dynamic vocal jazz with the rhythmic complexity of Brazilian samba-jazz on this energetic release. Supported by an elite ensemble of fusion musicians, her elastic vocal phrasing takes center stage in the dense, improvisational arrangements. It continues her run of highly successful crossover jazz albums during the 1970s.
