Album Notes & Community Reviews

Also released internationally as 'In and Out of Focus', the Dutch ensemble's debut introduced the astonishing interplay between Thijs van Leer's classical keyboards and Jan Akkerman's virtuosic guitar work. While slightly less cohesive than their subsequent masterpieces, the instrumental 'Anonymous' clearly established their uniquely melodic, jazz-inflected approach to European progressive rock.
