Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded at Dave Grohl's Studio 606, 'Your Favorite Toy' marks a shift toward a more immediate, garage-rock-influenced sound. The album features Josh Freese's first full-length studio performance with the band, emphasizing a tighter, more technical rhythmic foundation. Lyrical themes center on the persistence of creative drive and the cyclical nature of the rock industry.
