Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Tough Love' is the incredibly raw and charmingly unpolished debut release from the New Jersey indie rock quintet. Frontwoman Ava Trilling's conversational, diary-like vocal delivery cuts perfectly through the band's jangly, emo-influenced guitar noodling. The self-released project quickly captured the attention of the internet indie scene, setting the foundation for their eventual signing to Sub Pop Records.
