Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by the viral success of 'Pumped Up Kicks', Foster the People's debut is a catchy collection of indie-pop earworms. 'Torches' blends MGMT-style electronics with Beach Boys harmonies. Despite the upbeat production, many lyrics deal with dark themes like isolation and gun violence.
