Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping momentarily away from her role fronting the beloved indie-rock outfit Hop Along, Quinlan delivers a surprisingly lush, synthesizer-heavy solo debut. The record trades driving rock instrumentation for acoustic guitars, bright synthesizers, and drum machines, highlighting her unparalleled, raspy vocal acrobatics. The lyrics focus deeply on the complexities of communication and the compromises of maintaining friendships.
