Album Notes & Community Reviews

The masterful Italian cantautore utilized the tragic sinking of the famous ocean liner as an elaborate, allegorical framework for this brilliant concept album. 'Titanic' explores the rigid class divides, hubris, and social turmoil of the early 20th century, drawing poignant parallels to contemporary Italian society. Backed by sophisticated, folk-rock arrangements, it remains one of De Gregori's most critically acclaimed and intellectually rich works.
