Album Notes & Community Reviews
The veteran Italian avant-pop maverick completely overhauled his sound on this forward-thinking release, integrating dense alternative rock instrumentation and IDM-influenced electronic programming. Supported by a backing band featuring members of Bluvertigo and Subsonica, Battiato explores cynical, esoteric philosophy over aggressive, distorted rhythms.
