On 'La question', Françoise Hardy pivots to a sparse and intimate sound, a collaboration almost entirely composed and supervised by Brazilian musician Tuca. The album is built around Tuca's bossa nova-inflected guitar and Hardy's sensual, breathy vocals, complemented by subtle bass lines and lush string arrangements by Raymond Donnez.
