Album Notes & Community Reviews

An essential artifact of the Space Age Pop era, this concept album utilizes a massive orchestra heavily augmented by the theremin and early electronic effects. Frank Comstock masterfully blends standard lounge exotica with eerie, sci-fi atmospheres, perfectly capturing America's concurrent obsessions with hi-fi stereo fidelity and the Space Race. Its sweeping, uncanny soundscapes have kept it a favorite among mid-century pop collectors.
