Album Notes & Community Reviews

Notable for being the only studio album Frank Sinatra ever recorded outside of the United States, this LP was captured in London with arranger Robert Farnon. Sinatra was suffering from vocal exhaustion during the sessions, resulting in a somewhat strained, weary timbre that inadvertently added pathos to the British-penned ballads. The record remains a unique, slightly flawed curiosity within his massive Reprise discography.
