Album Notes & Community Reviews

Conceived entirely as a collection of mid-tempo, romantic ballads, Nelson Riddle's lush string arrangements specifically catered to the vocalist's mature, conversational phrasing. The title track was a late addition requested by the label, demanding a slightly more rhythmic, swinging delivery.
