Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating closely with arranger Don Costa, 'Sinatra & Strings' emphasizes expansive, lush orchestrations over swinging rhythms. The LP features a collection of torch songs and ballads, highlighting Sinatra's exquisite phrasing and dynamic control within a highly romanticized setting. It stands as one of the definitive 'mood' records of his early Reprise years.
