Album Notes & Community Reviews

For 'Sinatra and Swingin' Brass', the singer enlisted arranger Neal Hefti to recreate the explosive, driving big band energy of his classic Capitol era within his new Reprise framework. Hefti's charts are sharp and aggressive, perfectly complementing Sinatra's confident, rhythmic vocal delivery. It stands as one of his most overtly powerful, up-tempo records of the early 1960s.
