Completed shortly before his death and released posthumously, 'Civilization Phaze III' is Frank Zappa's ultimate, uncompromised masterwork realized entirely on the Synclavier. The dense, apocalyptic double-album merges terrifyingly complex electronic modern classical compositions with eerie spoken-word recordings of people trapped inside a piano, concluding his life's conceptual continuity.
