Exploiting the full potential of the Synclavier synthesizer, Frank Zappa composed an instrumental album of impossibly complex, rigidly programmed jazz fusion. The music features wildly fast arpeggios, dense layers of synthetic tones, and bizarre time signatures that would be unplayable by human hands. 'Jazz From Hell' is a highly technical, deeply surreal masterwork of progressive electronic music.
