Following the departure of founding guitarist Nick McCarthy, the Scottish indie-rock staples recruited French Touch legend Philippe Zdar to produce their deeply synth-driven fifth album. The record completely reinvigorates their signature angular post-punk sound with incredibly sleek, electronic disco and house music grooves. It acts as a fun, highly danceable reset for the veteran ensemble.
