Album Notes & Community Reviews

The formidable trumpeter pivots toward commercially accessible territory, heavily integrating electric guitars and driving rhythm sections into his hard bop foundation. Despite critical apprehension regarding the mainstream pivot, the sessions feature undeniably infectious grooves and razor-sharp, technically brilliant soloing.
