Album Notes & Community Reviews
Backed by an exceptional rhythm section that includes Ron Carter and Jack DeJohnette, the master trumpeter bridges the gap between his hard bop roots and contemporary jazz fusion. 'Super Blue' delivers energetic, technically brilliant improvisations wrapped in sophisticated, late-70s studio sheen.
