Album Notes & Community Reviews

Releasing through Merge Records, 'Love the Stranger' is a nuanced exploration of alternative country and indie folk songwriting. The Philadelphia-based ensemble uses subtle pedal steel accents and gentle acoustic guitar interplay to support Dan Wriggins' conversational, poetic lyricism. The record offers a quietly devastating and beautifully arranged perspective on modern Americana.
