Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final, posthumous studio statement from the politically charged Washington D.C. outfit before their dissolution, this album marked a significant evolution in their sound. 'And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea' integrates sprawling, dynamic post-rock passages into their typically jagged, chaotic math-rock assault. The record perfectly captures the millennial anxiety and anti-corporate angst that defined their explosive live performances.
