Album Notes & Community Reviews
The Californian stoner rock pioneers firmly established their signature fuzz-drenched, incredibly groovy guitar sound on their sophomore release. Heavily obsessed with 1970s custom vans, skateboarding, and B-movies, the massively down-tuned, blues-inflected riffs perfectly capture the laid-back, highly energetic essence of the desert rock scene. The remarkably heavy, undeniably catchy recording cemented their status alongside Kyuss as premier architects of the genre.
