Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as a secondary solo project for Andy Marshall (mastermind behind the celebrated Scottish folk-metal act Saor), Fuath completely abandons traditional folk instrumentation. Translating to 'Hatred' in Gaelic, the album is a blistering, incredibly cold homage to early 1990s Norwegian black metal. It relies on relentless tremolo picking and freezing, hypnotic atmospheres to conjure a profound sense of wintery isolation.
