Album Notes & Community Reviews
Andy Marshall, the mastermind behind the acclaimed Scottish folk-metal project Saor, resurrects his much darker side-project for its sophomore release. 'II' entirely sheds his signature Celtic acoustic instrumentation in favor of freezing, hypnotic black metal riffs and relentless blast beats. The album is a profoundly bleak, winter-worshipping tribute to the early 1990s Scandinavian scene.
