Album Notes & Community Reviews
'Fugu 1' is the debut album by French composer and arranger Mehdi Zannad, recorded with more than twenty-five musicians including string and brass sections and a guest vocal from Laetitia Sadier of Stereolab. Its brief, densely orchestrated songs revive baroque and sunshine pop harmony, modelled on the Beach Boys and the Left Banke, at miniature scale.
