Album Notes & Community Reviews
Serving as the Welsh post-hardcore outfit's third studio LP, 'Tales Don't Tell Themselves' is an ambitious aquatic concept album chronicling a fisherman caught in a storm. The production shifts noticeably away from their aggressive screaming origins toward a highly polished, melodic alternative rock sound. This stylistic pivot generated significant discussion while securing their commercial footing within the late-2000s mainstream rock sphere[cite: 4].
