Led by Keiji Haino, 'Pathétique' is an overwhelmingly dense and manic exploration of Japanese noise rock and psychedelic improvisation. The double album utilizes incredibly raw, noisy, and dissonant guitar work to build a confrontational avant-garde atmosphere that is both massive and chaotic.
