Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating their remarkable twentieth anniversary, 'From a Hole in the Floor to a Fountain of Youth' is an immediate and accessible compilation of rarities and alternate hits from Baltimore synthpop heroes Future Islands. Released via 4AD, the twenty-track record gathers deep-cut B-sides, split tracks, and long-lost live favorites that have never before appeared on streaming services. The curated playlist avoids strict chronology, instead emphasizing the band's trademark melodic touch, stately momentum, and impassioned delivery.
