Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Boston-based group's debut full-length established their self-described 'bummer pop' aesthetic, characterized by conversational lyricism and interlocking vocal performances between Amy Reeder and Daniel Radin. Recorded at The Record Co., the arrangements emphasize mid-tempo indie rock structures with a focus on regional storytelling and the mundane anxieties of early adulthood. It served as a foundational release for the Northeast DIY scene's move toward more melodic, emo-inflected power pop.
