Sympathy

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Classically trained vocalist Gabrielle Herbst utilizes 'Sympathy' to completely deconstruct traditional operatic forms through modern studio manipulation. Co-produced by Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never), the album builds incredibly lush, choral soundscapes using extensively layered, pitch-shifted vocal loops and subtle orchestral flourishes. It serves as a deeply ethereal, profoundly beautiful intersection of art pop and modern classical composition.
