The album is a breathtaking amalgamation of classic, gospel-tinged soul and sweeping cinematic production, largely anchored by Jacob Lusk's astonishingly powerful vocal range. The record navigates themes of grief and romantic devastation with sophisticated, progressive neo-soul arrangements.
